THIS IS SUCH A GOOD READ!!! Everyone knows I’m an Andrews fan and the writing just keeps getting better and better. This is such a sweet read and it gives us a really nice glimpse into what’s to come next for the series. The writing is amazing as always and the investigative plot is very well executed, even if in such a short amount of pages. Ilona Andrews has given fans a wonderful novella to bridge the gap between Nevada’s storyline and the beginning of Catalina’s journey. This is a very fast read, but an engrossing one, with love, family fights, intrigue, and character development. It’s sweet and charming, giving a very nice conclusion to Rogan and Nevada’s story, while still establishing Catalina as a very strong character with a distinct and compelling voice. Nevada will have her fairy tale wedding, even if Catalina has to tear the mansion apart brick by brick to get it done.ĭiamond Fire is an absolute delight of a novella. But she’s a Baylor and there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her sister’s happiness. To make this wedding happen, Catalina will have to do the thing she fears most: use her magic. Someone is cheating, someone is lying, and someone is plotting murder.

Then the wedding planner gets escorted off the premises, the bride’s priceless tiara disappears, and Rogan’s extensive family overruns his mother’s home. Catalina Baylor is looking forward to wearing her maid of honor dress and watching her older sister walk down the aisle.
